Senses.
Observation is the process of actively gathering information from a primary source. The senses are used to observe living entities. Hearing, seeing, feeling, tasting, and smelling are only a few examples. We then perform an observation for a specific thing that is being seen using our senses.
The five senses are Taste, Smell, Sight, Touch, and Hearing.
First they make a hypothisis then they use there 5 senses: 1.hearing 2.smell 3.sight 4.taste 5.touch to make observations.
Hearing : microphone , loudspeaker Sight : X-ray , ultrasonic , telescope , binocular Technology would help you overcome limitations. Such as a microphone or loudspeaker would improve hearing. while x-ray, ultrasound, telescope and binoculars are some examples to overcome limitations of sight.
Quantitative observations are conducted using instruments that give calculated measurements like rulers, scales, or thermometers. This is in contrast to qualitative observations which are done using the senses (sight, smell, taste, touch, hearing).
