The model 20 is actually a very good old gun. They were made only for J C Higgins.Sears owned the patten and the Manufacturer High Standard . as I said these are very good guns and on par with any pump in their day better than a lot of them . They are in the same price rang as a Remington or Stevens about 200 bucks or more depending on condition and series .
I was at a gun show in TX (Jul 2010) and was offered $125 for my JC Higgins Model 20-12; however, that was a dealer.
