There are seven men named Judas mentioned or discussed in The Bible.

In Bible times, they did not use last names. The use of last names or family names did not really start until the 13th century.

Here are the seven men:

1. An ancestor to Jesus mentioned in Luke 3:30, 31

2. Judas the Galilean of Acts 5:37

3. One of the 12 Apostles, also called Thaddaeus of Luke 6:16 & Acts 1:13

4. One of the 12 Apostles, called Judas Iscariot, the betrayer

Matthew 10:4, Luke 6:16, John 6:71 and others.

5. One of four half brothers of Jesus Christ. Mt 13:55; Mr 6:3

6. A man from Damascus whose home was visited by Saul. Acts 9:11

7. Another name for Barsabbas - a disciple in the early Christian faith.

Acts 5:22

Last names were not used at that time in Israel. Instead, a person would be known as so-and-so from the town they were from. Judas was Judas Iscariot, which means "Judas from Kerioth."
