LOMO is a Russian producer of advanced optical instruments, lenses, medical equipment, consumer still and movie cameras.
It's production is based in St. Petersburg.
Ray optics
adaptive optics
The most common type of reflecting telescope produces an inverted image. However, it's possible for a reflecting telescope to produce an upright image, depending on exactly how the optics are arranged.
Fiber optics was invented for the same reason that human optics were invented, the fiber was having trouble seeing clearly.
Optics is the study of the behavior of properties of light, and there were quite a few philosophers that inspired Newton such as Robert Boyle, Rene Descartes, Sir Frances Bacon, and especially Galileo Galilee. This should help..
Ray optics
The Hubble Space Telescope was launched in 1990. Its optics were corrected in 1993.
LOMO was created in 1914.
adaptive optics
lomo means lamb
A large aperture telescope that does not have adaptive optics which can compensate for unevenness in the atmosphere.

By giving it "eyeglasses" just like your optometrist does to fix your vision. Initially by replacing the "High Speed Photometer" unit with the "Corrective Optics Space Telescope Axial Replacement" unit. Later instruments had their own "eyeglasses", making the "Corrective Optics Space Telescope Axial Replacement" unit unnecessary and it was replaced with the new "Cosmic Origins Spectrograph" unit.
I think he made the reflecting telescope but I'm not sure...sorry

You need special optics to focus infra-red. The longer wavelengths do not focus at the same point (they are bent less by refraction). Mirror optics are better.
