MB (megaByte) and GB (gigaByte) are measurements of storage in computers. Typically used to measure Memory (like Random Access Memory aka RAM) or storage (Floppy disks, hard drives, thumb drives, etc)
A bit is the smallest unit of storage in a computer. It can be a 1 or a 0.
A byte is a grouping of 8 bits. This is the most common size worked with. A single typewritten character is stored in a byte (in the English language.)
Just like meters, the prefixes kilo, mega, and giga can be added to bytes to define larger grouping of bytes. However where in the metric system each prefix is 1000 times larger than the last prefix, for bytes each prefix is 1024 times larger than the last prefix. (Note: Most hard drive manufactures use 1000 between prefixes since it makes their hard drives seem bigger.)
1 GB = 1,024 MB = 1,048,576 KB = 1,073,741,824 B1 MB = 1,024 KB = 1,048,576 B
1 KB = 1,024 B
That depends on the computer. The typical run-of-the-mill computer on the store shelves today will have: 1 gigabyte of system RAM (1024 megabytes) 256 to 512 megabytes video RAM 250 to 500 gigabytes of hard disk space (256000 to 512000 megabytes) and a DVD-RW drive capable of writing up to 8.5 gigabytes per disc (8700 megabytes) And dont forget up to 12 megabytes cache built in to the cpu.
A USB Cruzer is SanDisk brand of a USB Flash (Memory) Drive. Such a device stores just about any computer file type. SanDisk Corp. makes all kinds of USB flash drives, from 16 MB (mega byte) to 32 GB. (MB or GB is a unit of storage capacity, as in 0.016 GB = 16 MB or 32 GB = 32,000 MB.)
1 GB is about 1024 MB so yeah 139GB is more then 450MB
How many byte is 1 MB?How many bytes* is 1MB? 1048576
1GB = 1024 MB So, 32 MB is the difference
GB for sure.
Its 5 Gb and 589 Mb,Are you new to computer.
If you have 2 Gigabytes on a computer, you have 2,000 Megabytes, or 2,048 Megabytes in many cases.
On any computer (Mac or PC) to convert GB to MB simply multiply GB by 1024 and that is how many MB you have.
Usually GB or MB (GB means Gigabytes and MB means megabytes.) more commonly GB source: my knowledge
The memory of a computer is measured in bits, most commonly megabytes (MB) and gigabytes (GB). The speed of a computer is measured in Ghz.
1000 MB = 1 GB Not much, compared to 1 GB is roughly: 30/1000 MB
Gigabytes you might be talking about. Or megabytes. xD
could be 1 gigabyte. which is 1024 megabytes.
As it goes for memory1024 kb make 1 mb and 1024 mb make 1 gb, 1024 gb-1 terabyteso obvoiusly the computer with 3 gb has larger memory.
PB KB = Kilobyte MB = Megabyte GB = gigabyte TB = Terabyte PB = Petabyte These are the terms for the multiples of computer memory
bytes, megabytes and Gigabytes are the units for measuring the amout of data on a computer. 1024 megabytes are a gigabyte
