Netherrack can't be crafted into anything, but because mining it is so fast, it makes it an easy to use material for scaffolding while building other things.
There's no reason why it should. Netherrack ignites when fire is used on it, 'charge' from levers or redstone circuitry does not ignite it.
Yes. You can find Nerherrack burning naturally no problem in the Nether. There's a ton of buring netherrack there. Minecraft is Awesome :D
Yes. Unless you put it out.
Yes, in the Nether Zombie Pigmen spawn on the netherrack but I don't think they spawn on Netherrack in the Overworld.
get a nether portal and use netherrack
Umm, if you mean nether bricks then you will have to use a nether reactor. While using it you will be encased in netherrack which you can mine then smelt to turn in to nether brick items, then craft them like normal bricks. If you have recently used it then just mine the netherrack. If you have used it prior to 0.6.0, then it makes obsidian not netherrack and you will have to use it again
Yes, it's the red 'gravel' in the Nether, most of the scenery is made out of it.
You can use Flint and Steel. Remember though that while Netherrack is flammable and burns constantly, the fire from it will not spread to neighbouring Netherrack, nor does lava ignite it. You'd have to use Flint and Steel on each individually.
The nether's unique blocks are: Netherrack, Nether Brick (including steps), Nether Fence, Glowstone, Soul Sand.
The only way to keep a fire going indefinitely is to get a block of netherrack, if these are lit on fire, the block is neither consumed, nor extinguishes.
You need to have the Herobrine mod on and you need 9 gold 1 netherrack 1 herobrine totem 4 redstone torches and a flint and steel.
If you are non-outside loader, just run around, If you are ok with outside load, just load MCEdit, set filter to Netherrack and go there.
