After calling Comcast, they said that there is an outage in service. Interestingly, we have some TVs which don't have converter boxes on them, and those TVs work fine, but still receive the limited number of channels with having a converter box as per usual. The Comcast representative told me they were working on the problem, and that service should be restored shortly.
