Vicodin ES is extra strength. They are both Vicodin, however the ES may be stronger or may have more acetaminophen (Tylenol) in it.

Oxycodone(oxycotin and percocet), morphine, hydromorphone(diluadid), hydrocodone(vicodin), and heroin all start out as opium. Heroin actualy becomes morphine once it is broken down in your body. Vicodin attacks your liver after a long time of taking them and you can also overdose while marijuana will effect some of your brain cells and make your lips darker.. lol honestly there is no comparing marijuana to vicodin. so if you are smoking marijuana, continue that rather then switching to Vicodin. percocet is a little bit stronger than vicodin in terms of its sedating and painkilling effects. i had my wisdom teeth out a month ago and after a few days the vicodin the doctor prescribed me for pain gradually lost its effect. he then prescribed me percocet which felt stronger to me but like the vicodin it gradually lost its effect. your body tends to build high tolerances to these drugs if used consistently.
