You need to check if there's a small letter underneath the date:
No letter - 35¢ if very worn, up to about $10 if like new
"S" - $10 to $50
"D" - $200 to $500, but beware of counterfeits. A genuine 1914-D cent will NOT have the small letters "VDB" under Lincoln's shoulder near the edge of the coin. A fake made from a 1944-D by altering the last "4" WILL have those letters
