A World of Warcraft (WoW) Public Test Realm is a realm that has the next unreleased patch or update data installed. This is open to anyone and is totally free for all users with active accounts. All you have to do is download the updated client. Blizzard uses these realms to test their unreleased updates, so they can make any amendments or improvements to the updates before it is released.
It is installed just like the live client, except it should go into a separate directory other than the one your live client is in.
The Public Test Realm (PTR) is a separate realm that is used to pre-release new content and patches before they are implemented on Live servers. People are able to copy characters from their live account into the PTR, to see and test the new material. Using feedback from the PTR, bugs are fixed, game mechanics are balanced and tweaks are made.
Yes, as long as you have a WOW account and an active subscription.
How to login to a test realm well you go to the wow launcher and you have to look at the notes on http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/index.xml and should say right there and if it says that public test realm is open you press public realm on wow launcher you click public test and it will ask you to download the ptr thing and you will have a choice to copy a pre made character max level with complete raid gear and all that or you can copy one of your own characters and once its downloaded you click on the ptr and you get to test the realm and see all the new features
The World of Warcraft PTR (Public Test Realm) is installed in nearly the same way that the regular client is. It just needs to be in a separate directory than the regular game. It uses the same ports as regular client.
The Public Test Realm is closed for now. There is no new patch to work/test on. I don't know when it will be back but hopefully soon.
The patch notes for patch 3.3.3 are on the official site linked in the related links section. There is too many things to list here and it is copyrighted material. Please click the link for the most up-to-date patch notes from the Public Test Realm. (3.3.3 is not live yet)
The Wizard101 test realm isn't and doesn't turn into an actual realm. Everything you do in the test realm has no effect on your live realm account. Usually, after everything new in the test realm has been tested, they make it put it in the live game and close the test realm. :)
No you can't, the public test realm is only to test the 'prepatches' such as talents, shared mounts. ETC. If you wanna go to pandaria u must go to the beta.
You can't. The test realm is only to test things out (like you notice in the name) Thats why they give you free crowns in the test realm.
Yes, you should be able to play the test realm/client using a trial account.
You have to be a subscriber to get into test realm (i think). If you are, then type in google: wizard101 test realm download. you will be able to download it and get on. hope this helps!! :)
It will be released in a patch a little before Cataclysm hits. It is currently on the PTR (Test Realm), but blizzard has said it will not be activated live until right before Cataclysm hits, and it will not be a permanent thing either. It will disappear either when cat hits, or shortly thereafter.
Because something's wrong. Cannot be answered without more information.
According to most reports, yes Sprint's 4g is perfectly capable of running World of Warcraft. Although, the best way to know for sure is to....test it in your area. Some areas might be better than others.
