Why is ucsb a party school?
UCSB or ChicoI attended UCSB and graduated back in 2001. Although I never visited Chico, I heard from friends who attended that it had a pretty large social scene, like UCSB. I think many people have blown their party images out of proportion. Yes, UCSB was a fun school but I also studied hard to get my Biology degree. If you are looking for a party, you will find one at either school but you'll also get a great education that will enable you to get a good job once you graduate at UCSB.

The dorms in UCSB are pretty nice. I love in the oldest dorm of UCSB, and it is still clean and it looks sturdy, too. Manzanita are the nicest dorms since they are relatively new. They are very spacious and not too far from campus.
