Not entirely clear what you're asking about here... 1) most bikes have forks that either curve forward or has the wheel sitting in forward facing tabs on the fork legs. This(often known as rake) together with the angle that the fork as a whole sits on is what makes the bicycle go straight forward when it's upright and turn when its leaned. A bicycle with the fork turned backwards can not be ridden hands off. 2) If you're in an accident and bend your fork, expect the bike to handle differently. If bent sideways the bike will not track properly, if bent straight back steering will be nervous and twitchy.
