I have a Brindled Chihuahua, and his mother was Brindled, but his father was white. I agree, I think any breed can be brindled.
While American Staffordshire Terriers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers (two different breeds) both carry the gene for brindle coat color, brindle is not a common color pattern and can only occur in a minority of breeds. Those two breeds trace their ancestry to the brindled mastiff family of breeds. Some breeds in the working group, such as Boxers and Great Danes, can be brindle, as can some sighthounds (Irish Wolfhounds, Afghan Hounds, Greyhounds, Whippets). There are more than 300 breed in which the brindle color pattern cannot occur. Hope this helps.
Brindle is a word used to describe the coat or pelt of some animals.
Dogs, cats, and cattle are often described as "brindle" where as horses are called "roan". It is basically a muted striped pattern of lighter or darker hair on a contrasting body. On dogs the most recognisable is a pattern of dark brown or black "stripes" on a fawn or grey coloured body.

This can be hard to predict without seeing the family tree of the parents. However, as dark colours are more dominant you are likely to have a mostly brindle litter. Depending on whether the mother has any red in her parentage will depend on whether any of the puppies are red like the father. Typcially, there will be one red puppy for every three brindle puppies - but I cannot be sure.
Brindle is Not a Breed of Pitbull, Brindle is a coloring of their fur. Brindle can be a wide array of colors. usually a darker brown, lighter brown and a rust color combined. It's really rather pretty.
Dog Travis is a brindle mastiff. Mastiffs are large dogs and the brindle refers to the almost stripy coloring of the coat.

The puppy would most likely be brindle and white too, but if the dog's previous relatives aren't brindle and white (i.e. the stud's dam is black) then the puppy's could possibly be that color
Brindle is a recessive trait, so there isn't a certain combination that will guarantee brindle puppies. My puppy (black and white) has two black and white parents who had a litter of three black and whites, three reds and two brindle's!
