What is a bump in your ear cartilage just below the entrance to your ear that pops out on the back and hurts badly although your ears have been pierced since you were young and it just appeared?

Probably a cyst. You can usually apply hot wet compresses to it a couple of times a day to help it go down. If you try to pop it open, it may leave a small hole in the back of your ear so I would suggest the hot compress. If it doesn't go down, see you doctor & they can drain it for you. It will likely occur again in the same area based on my experiene. You could also try Tea Tree Oil, apply with a Q-Tip about two-three times a day. Mine went away and never came back.
