Cheetahs are cats with many of the same adaptations found in dogs. Unlike most large cats cheetahs run their prey down and work in packs, as opposed to acting like solitary stealth hunters who sneak up on their prey and then pounce on their prey. The physical adaptations are in the leg length, feet size and type, and muscle physiology.
The two main types of adaptations are structural (physiological) and behavioural.
