if you are that ghetto, yes. I would recomend a clear spray sealant though. Thay are not too expensive.
YOU SHOULD USE CLEAR SILKAFLEX OR VULCOM SEALENT OR CLEAR EXTERIOR SILICONE SEALENT.
It sealant is probably a silicon product, if it is on the glass and the glass is smooth then a razor will do the job. If the glass is textured then the task is very difficult. If the surface is rough then use a razor to remove as much as possible and use new sealant (I prefer clear) to assure no leaks and a fresh look.
Some people use clear mascara on their eyebrows because it is a clear gel that can be applied to the eyebrows with a brush to tame them. It is also great for the eyelashes to put as a sealant over your mascara to stop it from smudging.
The best sealant to use for wooden flooring would be to use a water based floor sealant . The drying time for this product is around 2 to 3 hours , it dries clear and it doesnt emit any harsh fumes .
If the sealant between the clear front portion and the rear black portion is gray.. Set your oven to 250 degrees, bake the headlight for about 8-14 min. This will soften the sealant. Just pull apart, be sure to use leather gloves or something of course. Repeat in reverse to reseal. Use some High temp RTV sealant to complete the seal. --If you have the headlights with the black sealant, this trick will not work.
EVA, Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, is a copolymer (plastic) film that is clear and waterproof, so it is an excellent sealant for Solar Panels.
Probably the windshield needs some clear winshield sealant applied under the molding on that side.

The exact removal instructions vary from car to car. But the basic theory is this, *you seperate the clear lens from the headlight mount (sometimes has silicone sealing it, you need heat gun) *take the orange lens & use a heat gun until the plastic starts to peel off. Then use pliers to pull of the orange. *clean off all the residue, then get a clear sealant spray *spray the inside with clear sealant *change your clear light bulbs for orange ones so you don't get a ticket. Wam Bam, you got clear corners. Make sure if you do have to remove silicone you replace it otherwise your headlights will get moisture in them
No sealant is used in that application.
When using a new pan gasket, no sealant is necessary. Using sealant on a automatic transmission pan gasket is a bad idea, excess sealant can cause trouble.
