A clock spring, when you are talking about vehicles, is a device that allows all the wires that are connected to the steering wheel, such as horn, turn signals, headlights, cruise control, and radio controls to still work when the steering wheel is turned. It makes all the connections by way of a device that can turn and still stay connected.
