Disk storage in the computer industry over the years has improved and now allows for greater storage capacity. In the computer industry this is very important as we live in a world of technology and everything we do needs to be stored so one can continue to access it. Storage of files is transferred and compressed down to a size that the disk can store it in. This could include files or presentations for work or school work.
