Physical Changes
Chemical changes
The following can indicate that a chemical change took place, although this evidence is not conclusive:
A chemical change results from a chemical reaction, while a physical change is when matter changes forms but not chemical identity. Examples of chemical changes are burning, cooking, rusting, and rotting. Examples of physical changes are boiling, melting, freezing, and shredding.
Physical changes are changes in the current state of the compound. Think of a block of ice (solid water). First you melt the ice and turn it into a cup of liquid water (that's a physical change). One step farther would be to boil the water until the liquid water becomes a vapor (that too is a physical change). A chemical change is a change of materials into another, new materials with different properties and one or more than one new substances are formed. It results when a substance combines with another to form a new substance (synthesis or either decomposes to form more substances).
Chemical change is a change in which a new substance is formed.ex-burning of paper or log, digestion of food, cooking, baking cake, milk turning sour, etc
Physical change is a change in which no new substance is formed.ex-tearing of paper, evaporation or freezing or melting of water, breaking vase, sharing ur pencil, etc.
Physical changes involve states of matter and energy. No new substance is created during a physical change, although the matter takes a different form. The size, shape, and color of matter may change. Physical changes occur when substances are mixed but don't chemically react.

A physicaal Change is something that can be reversed. EXAMPLE folding a piece of paper it's stil paper but in different form and shape.
A chemical Change is something that cannot be reversed. EEXAMPLE burning a piece of paper it turns into ashes and cannot get back into the whole paper form.
The general properties of matter such as color, density, hardness, are examples of physical properties. Properties that describe how a substance changes into a completely different substance are called chemical properties. Flammability and corrosion/oxidation resistance are examples of chemical properties.
EXAMPLE: Examples of chemical changes are burning, cooking, rusting, and rotting. Examples of physical changes are boiling, melting, freezing, and shredding.
Ice is water in solid state. When ice is heated, it melts to give liquid water this is physical change. When we burn wood, ashes are left out behind & we can't get it back, it is called chemical change.

A physical change. A chemical change would be, for example, burning clothes, or dissolving clothes.

Boiling water is physical change.
when water changes to water vapour by heating is an example of physical change. when water is divided into oxygen and hydrogen by passing electricity is an example of chemical change.
