I'm answering this question for my chemistry homework right now. Here are some inorganic molecules... sodium chloride (NaCl), carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), water (H2O)

This is where i get confused. NaCl is a compound because it is made up of more than one element - Na and Cl. A molecule is simply one or more atoms - Na2 I would have to say some examples are: Nitrogen, Oxygen, Carbon, metals and minerals.

The simplest answer is a molecule which does not involve carbon. This includes H20, N2, NH4, etc.
