The Fuse Actuator switch is an important part of an automobile. What it does is it helps the engine start and ignite the fuel and also keeps radiation from leaking out of the carborator. See, if the radiation leaks out it, it could do a lot of harm to you, your family and the family pet. Radiation Is the number one cause of AIDS and will force you to commit adultery.

How do you know if you need fuse or actuator?

Front differential does not engage on your 1998 Chevy Z71?

There is a switch on the transfur case that sends power to the front differential 4x4 Actuator when you shift the 4x4 lever, need to check the switch with a test light to see if it has power going to it. If not then check fuse in fuse box for the 4x4, If it does have power going to it, then go to the front housing and check the Actuator with a test light to see if it has power going to it, if no power then problem is in the wireing from there back to the transfur case switch. If you do have power at the front, then replace the Actuator.

Where is the actuator switch on 1997 Chevy Blazer?

The 1997 Chevrolet blazer actuator switch is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The switch is on the passenger side of the engine compartment.

You've replaced the actuator and the transfer case switch why is the fuse still blowing?

The shift fork in the differential could be bent or the sliding collar could be binding. When the actuator tries to push the fork, if there is any type of resistance it will cause a circuit overload and blow the fuse. It could be a short in the wire under the driver side floor mat that's blowing the fuse.

Where is the vacuum switch located on the front axle of 1996 dodge ram?

How do you repair electric door locks on a 1997 Chevy silverado 1500?

Kinda depends on what's wrong with them, which is why you diagnose the problem first. If your key works for locking and unlocking the doors, and they open and close fine, you can rule out the door latch. If you just hear a buzzing sound when you press the lock/unlock button, then it's your actuator which needs to be replaced... if your latch is bad, it can burn out the actuator, as well. If you're getting nothing at all, then start by taking a test light to your fuse panel to make sure the fuse is intact... the diagram on the back of the fuse panel cover will tell you which fuse it is. If you have power on both poles of the fuse, then you need to take off the door panel... remove the bolts which hold the armrest on and take off the armrest, and disconnect the switches from the underside of the armrest (those switches will either be on the armrest or on the door itself, depending on model year)... wherever your switch for the PDL is, diagnosing it will be the same... one pole on the plug to the PDL should be hot at all times... use your test light to ensure you have power to that switch. If you don't, then you need to trace the wiring from the switch back to the fuse panel and find the fault in the wire. If you do, then you take a trim puller around the interior door trim, and pull that off. Disconnect the plug to the actuator, plug the switch back in, and see if you have power to the actuator when you depress the switch. If you do, then the actuator is bad. If not, trace the wiring from the actuator to the switch and find the fault. While you have the door panel off, work the linkages to ensure the door latch functions like it's supposed to, and ensure they're all connected and undamaged. Replaced the actuator, verify that it's working, and reassemble the door.

Where can you find the fuse in a 96 ranger that operates the 4wd switch it won't enguage manual light 4wd low4wd blinking?

On a 95 ranger, the 4wd actuator needed replacing. on a 95 ranger, the 4wd actuator needed replacing. However, you can put it in 4wd and tap the from housing and it will sometime go into gear. The lack of use causes the actuator to freeze-up.

Does your 89 Chevy silverado have a actuator on the transfer case?

NO it don't. The actuator is up on the front axel housing. Now the transfur case does have a switch on it that sends power to the actuator up front.
