Geographical areas filled with a major community of plants are known as biomes. These regions are characterized by specific climate, soil, and environmental conditions that support the growth of particular plant species. Examples of biomes include rainforests, deserts, and grasslands.
Terrestrial ecosystems refer to the ecosystems found on land, including forests, grasslands, deserts, and tundra. These ecosystems are characterized by the presence of plants and animals adapted to life on land, as opposed to aquatic ecosystems found in water bodies. Terrestrial ecosystems play a crucial role in supporting biodiversity, regulating climate, and providing resources for human beings.
Biomes are climatically and geographically defined similar climatic conditions communities of plants, animals, and soil organisms, and are often referred to as ecosystems. There are 6 biomes and they are tundra, tagia, grassland, desert, tropical rainforest, and decious forest.
