Your doc prescribed you 60mg Vyvanse to take in the morning and 10mg Ritalin for the afternoon you work 6AM and the Vyvanse wears off around 2pm Is it okay to take a Ritalin 2pm and another 6pm?

Vyvanse is the brand-name for lisdexamfetamine. Lisdexamfetamine is a prodrug of dextroamphetamine. Dextroamphetamine is a controlled substance in most countries and is only dispensed under the authorization of a doctor. Dextroamphetamine works by increasing two chemicals in the brain: dopamine and norepinephrine. Both chemicals have been shown to play a role in focus and attention, and by raising these levels dextroamphetamine is able to help a person concentrate and sit still for longer periods of time. Vyvanse carries unique properties due to being a prodrug of amphetamine. Vyvanse is inactive until an enzyme works to activate allowing a longer duration of symptom relief (up to 14 hours) and less abusable properties since it must be swallowed to become active. Vyvanse is available in doses of 20mg, 30mg, 40mg, 50mg, 60mg, and 70mg. In Canada, Vyvanse is only available in doses of 20mg, 40mg, and 60mg.

they may say it is, but it may not appear that way to you. It did not for me. Im back on Adderall. This is only my opinion. From what I can gather, you need 2.6 times more vyvanse than adderall so if you were honestly taking 60mg of adderall, theoretically you'd need to take a whopping 200mg of vyvanse to equal the power. I more so assume that he's one: trying to make more money by prescribing the newer more expensive pill. Two: he might be trying to curb possible abuse in the area, or trying to make a healthier choice by trying to fight personal dependency by using less powerful amphetamines over a longer time.

Only taking cymbalta 60mg I have constipation, drink plenty of water and a cup of tea and fruit. I also have wierd dreams, dry mouth. Bridget
