Just include Pokemon that can beat the elite four like Raichu, and Alakazam, Gengar, Dewgong and many more.

And he'll always have a pidgeot and alakazam. One possible party for him would be Blastoise, Pidgeot, Alakazam, Exeggutor, Arcanine, and Nidoqueen.

For the elite 4 you need: A good electric pokemon (Probably Pikachu, Riachu or Zapdos), A good psychic pokemon (Probably Kadabra or Alakazam), A good water or grass pokemon (Blastoise is good, as would be Venasaur) and a good ice pokemon (Articuno is good, as are Dewgong and Lapras). If it is your first time and blastoise was your starter, moltres or Arcanine will be useful for your rival

i did my training in victory road its a great place to train if you have venusaur or blastoise if you have charizard and this is true for any starter in the gym battle every person in the gym it will be worth it also for charizard berry forest

Depending on theyre level. Use charizard for Lorelei, try evolving Kadabra then use that for Bruno, Agatha just try anything, Lance try to learn an ice or dragon type move, and for your rival use move types that are super effective Edit Blastoise and Pidgeot should be fine for Bruno, if you watch out for Hitmonchan's Ice Punch. Kadabra will be fine for Agatha, without evolving.
