Permanent marker is a dye stain, which makes it difficult to remove. Depending on the color, you may be able to bleach your garment, and that is likely the most efficient way to remove the stain. Otherwise you should pretreat it, following the directions on the back of a bought pretreatment.

if it's in sharpie perment marker......if its perspex or acrylic plastic it'll just rub offf.nail polish remover gets sharpie off quite wellhope this is of some use...x
probably baby oil or Avon Skin So Soft will work well. my daughter wrote on herself with permanent marker the other day and i used johnsons baby wash and it came write off with a bit of elbow grease i am sure any soap will work though. simplest way: take a potato peeler and shave ur skin off

Rubbing alcohol is often a good way to take ink off of non-porous surfaces. Unfortunately, paper is absorbent and likely to be ruined by the rubbing alcohol. You cannot use rubbing alcohol to take washable marker off of paper.

A good way is to buy some flea shampoo. Or if you want a more permanent solution, buy a flea collar.
mr clean magic eraser Another Answer: I found this out by total accident. Deep woods OFF, mosquito repellant will remove permanent marker off of anything, walls, plasticware, wood, paint, skin...try it.
