2400 on the new SAT:
800 on the Critical Reading section
800 on the Math section
800 on the Writing section
A perfect score in the old SAT was a 1600 because there was not a writing section.
Of the 1.5 mil people who took the SATs in 2008, 294 got perfect 2400s. I don't know about individual scores.
Nope. Although a perfect score combined with an exceptional GPA, extracurriculars, application.....etc. should guarantee a spot.
Nothing is guaranteed. However, perfect SAT scores will open doors for a student, especially if the student has strong high school grades.
Your SAT scores expire after 10 years.
