addition
It has two ALU units. As do all Pentium Family processors.
I believe it is a housing addition, also known as, or similar to, a subdivision. The reason I believe this is because they are adding "additional" homes to an area, thus creating a neighborhood. I ran into this question once as a journalist and, though it was a long time ago, I'm pretty sure my editor said addition was correct. It makes sense but in my mind my whole life I'd imagined it spelled edition, so it threw me off a little. But addition is more logical if you think about it.
