What is a koolituk?

It's a zip-up, hip length winter jacket with fur around the hood and a patterned trim around the bottom, about 2 inches from the hem. They were made of wool or an almost fakefur like material and various colours. Mine were usually deep green or red. They were popular in the late 1950-60's.
