The organelle that has many hair-like structures used for movement is the flagellum. It is a long, whip-like appendage that helps cells like sperm cells to swim.
Euglena moves using a long whip-like structure called a flagellum. The flagellum propels the euglena through the water by beating in a whip-like motion. Additionally, euglena can also change its shape and direction by contracting and expanding its pellicle, a flexible outer covering.
Cilia are hair-like structures found on the surface of many cells in the human body. They play important roles in a variety of functions, such as moving fluid across the cell surface or sensing changes in the cell's environment. The structure and function of cilia are supported by microtubules and motor proteins within the cell.
Flagella are long hair-like structures and Cillia are short hair-like structures. They can both help with the movement of the bacteria and cillia could stop foreign material entering the bacteria cell.
