A material safety data sheet (MSDS) is a form with data regarding the properties of a particular substance.
The CAS number called for on a Material Safety Data Sheet is the Chemical Abstracts Service registry number of the material. The Chemical Abstracts Service issues a unique number to each chemical that is mentioned in a scientific article abstracted by the Chemical Abstracts Service, and also to some complex mixtures. The number has no intrinsic meaning; it merely points to a specific chemical. It's value is that it is an unambiguous reference to a chemical, whereas there are frequently more than a few ways of naming each chemical using words and structural descriptions.
Main ingredients, from the material safety data sheet, are: * 50%: Stoddard solvent (mineral spirits, somewhat similar to, but not the same as, kerosene) * 25%: Liquefied petroleum gas (presumably as a propellant, carbon dioxide is used now to reduce considerable flammability) * 15+%: Mineral oil (light lubricating oil) * 10-%: Inert ingredients No Fish oil in WD-40... Meths (a.k.a methanol or methyl alcohol) can be used for fire poi. Ethanol is more common than methanol, and alcohols in general are commonly used in fire dancing with other chemicals to produce colored flames. Read the Material Safety Data Sheet prior to using methanol (or any fuel). Inhaling vapors prior to and after combustion of fuels can be hazardous to your health. Fire Mecca's Safety page is a good source for some MSDSs, include one for methanol.
For a known substance, you read the label or consult the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). Analysis of the chemical and physical properties of an unknown substance will give you the answer. To find out what chemical poisoned a victim, the forensic pathologist will base the conclusion on the characteristic appearance of the body and on chemical analysis of tissue, hair, nails and digestive tract contents.
In the United States, chemical suppliers are required to provide an MSDS for all chemicals they ship. Contact your supplier for a copy. They may provide paper or electronic copies.
Individual work areas should maintain a Material Safety Data Sheet for all hazardous chemicals stored or used in that area
MSDS software, or material safety data sheet, is used to provide workers with a list of safety guidelines so that the handle material is used correctly.
Acebutol is a drug used to treat hypertension. As a drug, it is not required to have a material safety data sheet because the drug regulatory agencies ensure information about its use and hazards is communicated by other means. A material safety data sheet, for any material, is a document in which the manufacturere or importer summarizes what it is, who made it, what its hazards are, what toxicology dta is available on it, how to protect yourself from its hazards, and what regulations may apply to its use, disposal, or transportation.
It might mean "not applicable," but if so it is a very poorly written MSDS. Abbreviations and contractions should be explained or not used.
This is the material safety data sheet. It tells the proper times and methods to use when washing your hands along with the chemicals that should be used.
Material Safety Data Sheet - warns of chemical hazards, toxicity, and disposal considerations and is read before a chemical is used.
Coal used in boilers does not usually require an MSDS, but many have probably been created by coal suppliers. Ask you potential coal supplier for a copy.

A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is a summary document providing information about a product that is or contains hazardous chemicals or other agents. The information provided includes:Manufacturer or other sourceHazardous componentsHazard summary and descriptionToxicology informationFire fighting guidanceExposure limits and Personal Protective Equipment that may be neededHow to dispose of the materialHow to deal with a spillRegulatory transportation requirementsother relevant information.Anyone performing chemical manipulations should review the hazards of the chemicals to be used, the intermediates and final products, as well as what could go wrong during the process. PArt of this would include revise of all relevant Material Safety Data Sheets.
MSDS is Material Safety Data Sheet. R1, R2, R3, R4, R6 are Risk phrases; for the meaning of these codes see the link below.
Trafficmaster Flooring is a product of Pergo (Europe) AB of Sweden. A material safety data sheet (MSDS) is probably not available for this (or any other) composite flooring product. This stuff is a composite and is made of a number of materials. (It would be like an MSDS for a vehicle - a new car, say.) If you are concerned about the chemicals used in the manufature of this material because they will be outgassing in your home, contact the company directly and see what you can get from them. A link is provided. Note that the phone number, though it is toll free, is a 24-hour fax back.
