Orange means aaru(6) and iainthu(5). Basically if you split the orange exactly half, the fruit divides into six(aaru) aside and five(iainthu) aside. So our ancestors called as aaraiainthu and then it will change as orange. First of all know that orange is not a English fruit. Lots of fruits are not mentioned in our old literature's. They showcased to the world that they invented these kinds of fruits(apple, orange, carrot, raddish,,etc.) whatever they invented except modern technology (except ATM, invention of radio) all basic things are comes from only old Tamil's. surely i prove it. if want to know revert back. share this points with each and everybody you meet.
