A personification poem means that the poem is about an object that is being described as a person. For example, 'The flowers were dancing in the light wind,' clearly everyone knows flowers can't dance, however people or a person can, so it have been described as a person.

A figure of speech given human thoughts to somthing that is not human, for example: A rat named Cheesy says "I like to eat cheese!"

Personification is a figure of speech.

The strategy is used to give object, things or animals human characteristics which we recognize ourselves.

Well, personification is where you give an inhuman object a human quality. So a personification poem is where they put it into a poem.
