You have to stop stitching and press reverse on the sewing machine. This will work very good. I took a sewing class and they taught me how to back stitch. Thanks
well what you have to do is..... You can buy free hand machines but most there is a press footer with handwheel. i am not sure
A pressing mitt. Check any sewing site like Nancy's Notions or Clotilde to see one.
One easy way is to use stitch witchery by Dritz, or a similar product which can be found at any sewing store. It can also be found a Walmart stores which have a sewing section. From the Prym/Dritz website: Instructions: Always test before use. 1.Place Stitch Witchery between fabric layers. 2.Cover with damp press cloth. Set steam iron on "wool" and press for 10 seconds on each side. Do not slide iron. 3.Allow to cool. Check, if bond is secure. Press again if necessary.
You press as you sew an item to be sure the seams are opened properly, or laying according to instructions of pattern before sewing the next seam that may cross the pressed seam. You will find that if you press as you go your item you are making will have a much better apperance when completed.
An iron is an essential tool while sewing. 1. You must iron your pattern pieces so that no wrinkles remain. 2. Iron your fabric; because you should always wash and dry fabric prior to sewing 3. pressing your seams toward one side 4. hemming properly
