A Tidal Bulge is a high tide. It is a bulge of water on the side of the earth under the moon, and it is caused by the moon's gravity attracting the water.

There is a similar bulge on the opposite side of the earth, away from the moon, to counterbalance the moon bulge.

The areas between the two bulges experience low tide.

It is when two tides hit eachother and one goes one way and the other goes the other way creating a tidal budge. :) I hope you get that right on the test or essay you are writing. Sincerly Someone in the USA.
