∙ 15y agoTypically, white bears are Polar Bears, which are indiginous to the Northern Hemispere, in colder climates. There are, however, bears that are 'albino', which can be almost of any species of bear.

∙ 7y agoThere's only one specie that's white by default, and that's the polar bear. And they certainly do exist.
Then there's a small population of Brown bears that occasionally produce white bears called spirit bears due to a mutation that influences pigmentation.
And just about all species can produce Albinos. However, "true" albinos are often plagued by poor Health and ahve poor survival chances in the wild.
