Reflection . . .
-- looking at yourself in a mirror
-- turning on the light in the room in order to see the floor
-- seeing the moon in the sky
Refraction . . .
-- putting on your glasses in order to see more clearly
-- the pencil looks like it's bent when you stick one end of it in water
-- the weather radar is aimed slightly UP in order to see a storm 100 miles away
Regular reflection is when light is being reflected in a parallel angle from a surface. This is explained in the laws of reflection and the best of example of this is a plane mirror.

5 examples of regular reflection
Light bending as it passes through a prism is an example of refraction, not reflection.
refraction
refraction and reflection are similar because *they both have to do with waves*
No. It's an example of the result of refraction ... curving of light on its waythrough the atmosphere, not necessarily requiring any reflection.
Possibly reflection inasmuch as most of us use mirrors everyday for grooming ourselves. However, without refraction microscopes and the study of most disease organisms would have been much more difficult, and without refraction we would not have the pleasure of television and other uses of camera lenses.
It is refraction

the difference between refraction and reflection is that in refraction light bends and in reflection it is reflected
No. It's an example of the result of refraction ... curving of light on its waythrough the atmosphere, not necessarily requiring any reflection.
Refraction is better.

It is called refraction, but some material bounces off the light and it is called reflection.
Reflection of light is the bending of light from its point. while refraction is the diverging of light from its bearing.
