An idle motor controls the idle-like when U turn on the AC,It will raise the RPM's so the engine doesn't stall. Idle motors are used on computer cars & instead of a screw adjustment.

The idle is adjusted by way of the Idle Air Control motor as directed from the Engine Control Module. The idle is computer controlled. I changeTHE IAC motor for a new one ,still there is a bit of a rough Idle, what can be the trouble

User Avatar

The idle is automatic. If the speed is not corect then you have to fix the problem with the idle motor.

User Avatar

Idle is automatically set by the computer with the use of an idle motor.

User Avatar

idle is controlled through the engine control module. the input is the throttle sensor the output is the idle speed stepper motor. The motor should be removed and the motor and throttle body should be cleaned.

User Avatar

There is none. It is electronic. Try replacing the idle motor.

The computer uses a motor in the throttle body assembly to open the throttle plate. There isn't a separate idle air control motor. The computer uses a motor in the throttle body assembly to open the throttle plate. There isn't a separate idle air control motor.

It is not adjustable. The computer controls idle speed through an idle stepper motor on the back of the throttle body. If idle speed is incorrect you have either a mechanical, sensor, actuator, or computer issue. It is not adjustable. It is computer controlled and is not adjustable. If idle speed is incorrect, you will need to check for vacuum leaks, inaccurate sensors, or a failing idle airflow control motor. It is computer controlled and is not adjustable. If idle speed is incorrect, you will need to check for vacuum leaks, inaccurate sensors, or a failing idle airflow control motor.

on idle, probably 0. KWh = KW x time (hours) . eg. 20KW for 5 hours = 100KWh (edit. ignore this answer i do not know what exactingly a idle motor is)

User Avatar

The idle is control by the idle air control motor from outputs from the Engine Control Module.

User Avatar

Wouldn't be your thermostat, its going to be the fan motor for your cooling system. Because the wind that hits the motor while driving cools the motor but when you come to a stop and idle there isn't anything to cool the motor

User Avatar

Fast idle motor is not working. This is allowing the idle to fall below the threshold of what it should be when the A/C is on.

User Avatar

Idle speed is not adjustable. The computer controls the speed with the idle air control motor on the back of the throttle body.

It is not adjustable. The idle speed is computer controlled with a AIS stepper motor.
