The inner planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars and the outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. I wouldn't count Pluto as a planet cause there thoughts about Pluto could possibly be Neptune moon

The "inner planets" are the four rocky or "terrestrial" (Earth-like) planets closer to the Sun. The outer planets are the four larger "gas giants" farther from the Sun, beyond the Asteroid Belt.

Inner planets : Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars

Outer planets : Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune

The Asteroid belt divides the inner and outer planets. The inner planets are the planets inside of the belt, and the outer planets (sometimes referred to as the Jovian Planets) are on the outside of the belt. The inner planets are primarily composed of rock and the outer planets are composed of gases.

a inner planet is the 4 planets closest to the sun which is Mercury ,Venus ,Earth ,and Mars they all are solid rocky planets but the outer planets are gas giants the outer planets are the 4 planets farthest away from the sun and they are Jupiter,Saturn,Neptune and Uranus
