If your teacher has a doctorate or Ph.D. you would use the title Dr. when referring to them or speaking to them. It shows respect. It's a lot of work getting that Dr. title, and sometimes, certain people will be angry if you forget to include the Dr.
If your teacher does not have a doctorate or Ph.D. you can use the title "Professor" rather than Mr./Mrs/Miss to show respect. Depending on the teacher, they may correct you and say that you can call them by Mr./Mrs./Miss.
If you have no idea if you should use Dr. to address your teacher or not, it's safest to assume that they are a Dr. If they are not, they might feel flattered and correct you. If they are, you're keeping on their good side. :)

There isn't a specific term, but teachers are usually referred to as "a panel of teachers". I'm tempted to suggest "a lack of principals" for a collection of head teachers(!)
