This is just a hunch . . . If "line CD" is a line in a sketch that you're looking at in a
textbook or a homework sheet, then I really have to see it, along with any other
information that's labeled in the same drawing, before I can develop an answer.
(That's a big part of the reason why they print the sketch there and give you the
rest of the information . . . you need all of that in order to answer the question.)

Draw any finite line. Write C near one end; write D near the other end. You now have a line segment and have named it CD.
Any line that is parallel to another line will have the same slope. So if line AB's slope is zero and line CD is parallel to AB, then its slope will also be zero. The slope of line CD, when perpendicular to AB, will be infinity. If line AB has a slope of zero that means its just a horizontal line passing some point on the y-axis. A line that is perpendicualr to this one will pass through some point on the x-axis and therefore have an infinite slope.
A Parallel - because they are imaginary lines that run around the earth parallel to the equator
