people are trying to catch poachers and are trying not to cut down trees from the rain forest
We could place them in a zoo or a habitat
There are lots of things being done! There is zoos for tigers. There are sanctuaries just for tigers. Also we are trying to help the tigers get off the endangered list!!!! AND WE SHOULD STOP KILLING THEM AND WHO EVER IS KILLING THEM MOTHER NATURE WILL GET U BACK.
nothing. it's appalling!
There are no Arctic tigers. All six subspecies are fully protected by laws where they reside.
The Sumatran tiger has adapted several useful features to further its survival. They have slightly darker coats than other tigers to help with camouflage and longer facial fur and whiskers to help them navigate throughout the jungle.
Zoos, and other wildlife parks are doing their best.
They are in zoos and cared for daily, with water and food. People can look at them, and learn about the dangers they are in.
this is probably not much help but i know that the sumatran tiger is at the top of its food web and it eats larger ungulates, like wild boar, tapir and deer, and sometimes also smaller animals, like fowl, and fish somtimes Orangutans. try looking for the food web of the sumatran rainforest. sorry if this isn't much help
we could not killl then leave then
nothing is being done to help
A re-wilding project is underway in Africa to teach zoo born Chinese tigers to hunt, to be released into their former haunts.
As of the year 2000, the AZA (Association of zoos and aquariums) released the species survival plan for all of the tiger species. According to this link below, there are about 400-500 sumatran tigers left in the wild. They reside only on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Some people may ask why can't zoos use artificial insemination on the tigers that they house within their zoos. Female tigers need to be physically stimulated by the male in order for their egg to be released. This is crazy WE need to let them live
to catch deer and survive
