coral must have a certain temperature to live in.
Too hot or too cold ,the coral dies and turns white.
The white is the result of its skeleton, its also known as "bleaching".
When the coral dies so does the micro organisms which flourish in biosyntheses among the reef.
Among these organisms are the parrot fish food source, with out the food source the parrot fish die off.
