This method produces quick results, but destroys the bond between dog and owner, and often the dog is not taught and corrective behaviour - just not to do something.
Positive reinforcement teaches your dog to do what you want because they get something good and they want to please you. Positive reinforcement is always the way to go with training. You and your dog will be much happier. It will also depend on the dog as a vibrating collar may not work as well with some dogs.
