meloxicam
No they are not. They are in a different class caled NSAID's
Can you take Meloxicam one days and alleve the next, alternating days? I am 2 months post op knee replacement and my Doctor said taking both at the the same time could damage my kidneys, but what if I alternated days? I am trying to get off the meloxicam.
Meloxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), similar to Tylenol or Aleve for humans. It is moderately effective at reducing the pain and associated inflammatory symptoms of a urinary bladder infection, but has no effect on the bacteria causing the infection. A veterinarian would likely prescribe both meloxicam and an antibiotic for a urinary bladder infection.
If ultram isn't ridding you of your pain aleve certainly will not help. I was on ultram for eight years and it worked for mild pain. I've taken Aleve a few times and it did absolutely nothing. But to answer your question I can take aleve with ultram with no problem.
Aleve
I pick neither. I pick neither because in my opinoin Aleve and Advil are the same. They are the same because the commercials on tv basiclly say the same things exept the two commercials are worded differently. So either way they both are good if you are in real pain and need a pain releiver.
Aleve is an anti-inflammatory drug that helps relieve pain.
I take aleve ocassionaly for pack pain. Iam on amytryptyline one a night. Is this alright
tylenol.
I would not recomend it
Naproxen (Aleve) and pain-reliving creme (Ben-gay)?
Aleve is a good drug for minor aches and pains. It may help with chronic low back pain, depending on the severity. Stretching and walking every day is probably the best solution for low back pain.
