What is better a high lift lawn mower blade or a low lift blade.
High lift blades generally do a better job of lifting the grass and cutting it off smoothly but can stir up a lot of dirt and dust making your operating environment uncomfortable. High lift blades are commonly used with bagging systems to provide extra discharge lift. Low lift blades have less "drag" resulting in minor fuel saving and less wear and tear on mower and engine components.
try high lift blades
You can lift a riding lawn mower with a car or floor jack in order to change the blades. Simply place the jack under the frame of the lawn mower but away from the blades to lift it. Then, block the mower up using bricks or concrete blocks.
i had high lift blades on my mower & it would overheat. i put regular blades on it & problem went away. could be your problem
The "Iron Lotus" is the name of the final lift in the movie Blades of Glory.

The flapping of the blades compensates the dissymmetry of the lift created by the blades. The blade going in the same direction as the relative wind has more speed , therefore more lift than the one going against the wind. As the blades are on hinges the blade which has more lift can "flapp" upwards resulting in loss of surface ( as lift is also dependent of the surface) and thus balancing the lift on the rotor disk.
A helicopter achieves lift through its main rotor blades, which spin rapidly to create lift by generating airflow over the rotor blades. The shape of the rotor blades and the angle of attack can be adjusted to control the lift produced. This lift overcomes gravity, allowing the helicopter to become airborne.
The air density is lower so the miniature blades on the RC does not generate enough lift to operate
The rotor blades lift helicopters
The blades on a helicopter are called rotor blades. They are attached to the rotor mast and rotate to provide lift and control for the helicopter.
Bernoulli's principle states that as the speed of a fluid increases, its pressure decreases. In a helicopter, the rotor blades create lift by moving through the air at a high speed. This creates a pressure difference between the top and bottom of the blades, generating lift and allowing the helicopter to fly.
