It's all about personal preference. The damage between the three classes are usually close between intervals, (i.e. If one class averages about 3000 dmg, the other classes will hit somewhat near. 2,000 or 4,000. (Not the actual numbers just a guide to the ranges of damage))
**WARNING**
[I derived with the following informating from personal experience and actual tests, the following factors may vary your results :
Funding
Weapons
Specific attributes (i.e. Strless, Low str, Lukless, etc.)
NX Cash
Wild Hunter : Exciting in the beginning. Will get dastardly boring from about mid 2nd job to 3rd job (in comparison to the other resistance). At 4th job this is the "strongest", (best at inflicting damage), class to be at (in comparison to the other resistance).
Battle Mage : Feels slow in the beginning. Great training spots and potentially fast leveling through 2nd job. Pace picks up around 3rd to 4th job. Godly-like 4th job skills.
Mechanic : FLASHY. Very attractive class throughout all four jobs. Training becomes very repetitive, but your awesome moves will make up for it. Very fast leveling. At 4th job you will have what are potentially the flashiest skills in the game, but your overall damage intervals will most likely end up lower than the other two resistances at 4th job.
All Jobs : all of the jobs level relatively fast. They all have great mobbing attacks from second job on. They are all "OP" compared to the other classes (i.e. Explorers, Cygnus Knights, etc.).
Source : I have created one of each of these characters and gotten all of them to 4th job. All of my characters were unfunded.
::Conclusion::
If you are willing to stick with it until the end a wild hunter would usually do the most damage.
Mechanics have the most fun with attacks, but are boring to train and end up with the lowest damage intervals fourth job.
Battle Mages tend not to get boring and are more than decent at fourth job. Very fun, easy to stick with.
There isn't a "best" class on maplestory. As long as you have good equips and NX, then you'll have a powerful character.
mechanic, i thinj
Probaly the mechanic.
never
You can't yet, but as soon as it comes out, patch .95 I think you'll be able to get the job making a resistance char and advancing same place as the Wild hunter and Battlemage does.
mechanical pirate ,wild hunter, something wizrd
Battle Hunter was created in 2001.
Battle Hunter happened in 2001.
In an episode where Dean Winchester was not a hunter, he was a mechanic.
Now the 5 hero classes are: Aran, Dual Blade, Battle Mage, Wild Hunter, and the pirate one is Mechanic. You see when the Cygnus Knights came out it was a weapon switch. The Night Walker got the claw so Dual Blades got daggers. Wind archer got the bow so Wild Hunter got crossbow. Dawn Warrior got swords so Arans got pole arm. Blaze Wizard got both weapons but I think you need a staff for battle mage. The thunder breaker got a knuckler, so the Mechanics got guns. NOTE: These are all GMS names. KMS and other types of MapleStory might have other names.
Hunter if you want to use a bow. Crossbowman if you want to use a crossbow.
city hunter
Ray Hunter
