CM during ovulation only lasts three days and looks like egg-whites. CM caused by being pregnant increases in quantity and looks like a mixture of ovulation discharge and natural vaginal discharge. Just lots more of it.

Yes, it's possible to have cervical mucus present at various points in your menstrual cycle. When is it THE MOST EASIEST to get pregnant?

During ovulation. U can tell this by checking your cervical mucus and cervix position. Ur mucus will go from tacky and pasty to clear and slippery like egg white. You will be able to stretch it between about an inch before it breaks. You have to get this sample from your cervix. While you are there, check ur cervix. Before ovulation it is firm (like ur nose) and hard to reach. The closer to ovulation it will become soft (like your lips) and low.

How do you check your cervical mucus?

After your period you will be dryer and as you get closer to ovulation mucus will gradually increase and it will be sticky and cloudy (creamy). RIGHT before you ovulate mucus will increase even more and it will become clear and very slippery, (like egg white) and stretchy. Ovulation will occur at about this time. After ovulation it will become sticky and cloudy again, and mucus will decrease.

Which symptoms of ovulation are considered normal?

For the majority of women, ovulation starts every 23 to 35 days but this can be delayed due to environmental factors such as stress. Ovulation pain is one of the common symptoms of ovulation and is felt as a pain around the lower abdomen. A drop in body temperature is also noticed during ovulation and a normal increase is faced after ovulation. The cervical mucus will also be watery like a raw egg-white during this period, these symptoms are all normal symptoms to face during the period of ovulation.

How does cervical mucus change early in pregnancy?

Here is advice and input: * That is normal for a woman's body, it doesn't mean you are pregnant. * It is possible. Some women continue to have a large amount of discharge after they ovulate, clear up through the date that the period is due. Others are dry. If you notice something that is abnormal from the way you are each month, it is always possible you are pregnant. Just wait until you are late for your period and take a HPT. Hello. This could simply be left over ovulation discharge. But it could also be pregnancy discharge. Personally I would go with it being ovulation discharge. But if the discharges increases a lot....significantly increases...then see your doctor for a pregnancy blood test.

Why do you have egg-white cervical mucus?

I'm going through the same thing; 9 days late and white CM instead... I took a test, but it was negative. Depending on how late you are, you should test. If it's negative like mine, but you still don't get it, see a doc for a blood test. I'll be making an appointment soon. Good luck! :)
