The fact is, it would require 26 gallons in one day of a 10ppm silver water solution for skin to turn blue. However, the disease-causing organisms die off with much less silver. Maximum daily dose of a 10ppm solution is only seven teaspoons.
The body maintains populations of bacteria in the gut that are necessary for digestion.
