Condensation is the process by which a gas turns into a liquid.

Unless you work in a laboratory or as an HVAC technician, your primary exposure to condensation is when water condenses. For instance, when you're drinking a glass of lemonade or pop on a summer's day, you will notice that on the outside of your glass there are small droplets of water. This is water that has condensed from its vapor state in the surrounding air to the liquid state on your glass.

Condensation is universally accompanied by a transfer of energy. In nature, this transfer is usually in the form of heat. Air surrendering heat energy becomes less able to hold water vapor, and cooling air is responsible for the water on your lemonade glass, as well as common occurrences such as rain, snow, and fog. But condensation can also occur with increasing pressure. Common examples of this include LP (propane) gas, liquid nitrogen, and air-conditioning cooling agents, such as Freon or ammonia.

Why does air move on the Earth's surface?

Condensation is the process by which water vapor in the air is changed into liquid water. Condensation is crucial to the water cycle because it is responsible for the formation of clouds. These clouds may produce precipitation, which is the primary route for water to return to the Earth's surface within the water cycle. Condensation is the opposite of evaporation.

How does the water cycle contribute to condensation?

The Water Cycle contributes the condensation in many ways, here is my answer. The water cycle brings water vapor from the clouds to the earth. The condensation then condenses. jk i don't know the answer that's why im asking! :)

What is the the opposite of condensation?

Evaporation is the opposite of condensation.

Which of the processes associated with the water cycle might be responsible for helping to clean or filter the water?

When evaporation occurs, all impurities leave the water. However, for condensation to happen, water has to form around a particle. Distilled water is pure from evaporation and forced condensation.

The change in state from gas to liquid?

Condensation is the change of the physical state of matter from gaseous phase into liquid phase and is the reverse of evaporation.

Is a cloud a type of condensation?

Yes, a cloud is condensation. Water evaporates into condensation (a cloud).
