It is called the Masjid or Mosque. If there is none in that area, the Muslims usually gather at some convenient place for the congregational prayers
The religion is practised at home, at work, and when travelling. The early morning prayers and the evening prayers are preferably done in the Masjid. Once a week the Friday afternoon prayer is done as a congregational prayer, and so is the Eid prayers when every one goes to the Masjid which is the place of worship for the muslims.
The only particular requirement of Muslims on Fridays is for men to attend Jammah (midd-day congregational prayers), if it is at all possible.
